MusAid has just pledged their collaboration to Bolivia Clasica!

MusAid supports musical institutions in developing countries around the world with donated instruments and volunteer teaching programmes.

MusAid has already donated a quantity of string instruments for our training programme and their active partnership with Bolivia Clasica takes effect starting in 2016.

MusAid is a 501(c)3 non-profit, registered in both the USA and Canada, that provides musical institutions in under-resourced parts of the world with volunteer music teachers and donated instruments and materials. We work closely with music schools to determine what their specific needs are and then devise a plan that will lead to the school’s long term sustainability.

MusAid’s mission is to use music as a tool for social transformation by providing high quality musical education to at-risk children and youth.

Joining forces with the SBMC

The Bolivian Chamber Music Society (SBMC) was founded in 2014 by young Bolivian and Brazilian musicians, to offer chamber music performances of the highest caliber and introduce innovative concert formats to the Bolivian artistic scene. These concerts are performed mainly by Bolivians residing abroad, joined by international guest musicians.

In August of 2015 Bolivia Clásica presented a series of concerts in La Paz and El Alto as part of a new collaboration between these two organizations, combining musicians, ideas, and resources to present ambitious programmes across the country.
